Many isolated areas in Madagascar are far from medical help and facilities. As a special project, MAF Madagascar organises flights taking volunteer doctors out to very isolated areas, where they set up a clinic and work with the village people for one to seven days. Other volunteers can go along to help with the distribution of medicines or other non-medical tasks.

MAF Madagascar can also do medical evacuations in case of urgent need.
